well, the transfer of my tank is almost complete! I am just waiting on one more set of lights to come in this week (shipped 1 set that was wrong fixture) and will have that installed and will be completed!

I have 2x Outer Orbit 150wx2MH with LEDs and T5 lights (like i said 1 will be in this week). Marineland 300g Marine Series Advanced In-Sump Skimmer, Eheim Sump with ref with mud and cheato, UV sterilizer, artica chiller, and about 180lb of LR.

I am storing some rock in my sump to give my parents when they get the 75 g tank so that is why the sump is so full at this point! Also, the skimmer is spazzing out at this point still due to being new...overfill flowing out top of cup. I do hope that stops soon!

Of course I am just happy to get rid of this out of my living room!;D I was getting a little tired of looking like a fish store. The 55g tank is gone and the 75g is tore down and is going to be moved this week. It is so nice to just have the one tank to take care of now finally (plus QT tanks!)

as you can see I decided to paint during this move!

Glad to hear everything is getting better Melissa. You definately have room for more clams.

Only one thing is concerning me....is that salt-creep (dried salt) on the connections to the UV or is that white silicone?

    Nice set up!
I hope you have enough light for your clam though as the clams you have are more light requiring! You should place them up high in your tank on the live rock for best success, plus that is where they live in the wild!
    Best of luck!

It is actually both on the UV. If you remember, there was a leak around the top of the UV, so it was siliconed to death. It still had a very, very tiny leak after ALL that silicone, but the saltcreep seemed to have stopped that so I am not sure I want to go in and disrupt that. (you know me and leaks now!) But that thick stuff is silicone. It is probably several inches thick that was placed when I got it. If we ever have to replace the tubes it is going to be fun!:)
