    Hey All,
While in the process of setting up my 150 gal sps reef....... I came across one of those 2good2 pass up deals. It's a 20gal long complete setup. Tank, Hood, Lighting, Sump, Skimmer, Top-off, LR, Livestock, Corals, on and on.......Only thing I have added is a pair of tru-Perc clowns. This reef will be a perfect Frag-Growout tank when the 150 is running. Any way here are some pics to check out.
    Thanks, Scott

You and I are one of the few to go barebottom. I have starboard plastic sheeting on the bottom of my tank/ It is just white sheeting and if you look at it from afar it looks like sand and it helps protect my bottom glass from falling rock. Bomber over on RC has had his up and running for a long while without any ill effects. You may want to try this in your 150. What kind of lights are on the 20? Also tell us about your plans for the 150.

szidls , your new tank looks great to me! I know its exciting when you can get such a good deal. How good of a deal was it?

I bet your 150 will really be awesome. Don't forget the pics once you get it set up!

    Hey Reefman,
The Bare bottom movement is getting stronger all the time. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] Actually we have several tanks that are all BB. We were inducted to the club by Mojoreef. ;D I think it's alot easier maint. wise to keep the detritus in suspension and remove with a micron sock and siphon. I guess the look is the big concern for most folks. Personal preference. The 150 gal will definately be BB. The LR is curing in the garage now!I'll get some 150 pics up soon. I updated my sig line for the 20 gal tank info. Hope it works. The lighting is 1-175 se 10000k ushio and 300 watt pc & T5 actinic.
    Hey Beamer,
    Thanks for the nice comments.
As for the tank deal....I gave the seller his asking price no questions. He used to work in a local reef shop in Seattle. Great guy..........All quality stuff in setup.
    Take Care, Scott
