Nice looking tank. It looks really clean. I hope that your mandarin eats prepared food. It seems like people with 50+ gallon tanks have trouble keeping enough pods to keep one alive.

I constantly stock the tank with tigger pods. 2,000 per bottle and i add half a bottle every 2 weeks. The other fish love them too.
Hes always eaqting. I dont think he'll have an issue. You are right though, it is hard getting tigger pods to reproduce enough in a tank this small. I also added ocean pods in the beginning to diversify the reproduction seasons.

I know i was pushing it, but i did things one by one and watched my water parameters. The tank is very easy to mantain. I guess im just lucky.
    Thanks

Yes, it is a toadstool with two heads. I bought it that way. I have heard of this being a possible occurance, although rare. I grabbed it right away when i saw it haha. It is really cool looking.

I've had mixed education on this topic. Is it easier or harder to keep a mandarin alive in a smaller tank. I would think that if the tank is smaller, and constantly dosed with pods, there would be more pods per gallon (figuring there would be enough LR to keep them around)

Or is it the other way around, will a larger tank with tiggerpods be better?

I am a little confused about this.

My spotted phseicodelic or however you spell it seems to be always hunting and looking into crevices for the pods. He seems healthy. I just dont want to miss someting i dont know.

Are there any other foods he would eat that I could stock the tank with just in case?

Also im not sure if thsi is true by does the phytoplankton additives you put in the tank contribute to mandarin food? I thought it would be too small and insignificant for a fish...
