Well, Im off to the local lfs's for a torch coral. I made the room, now its time to get it. Im hoping they have a pink/red one. After the coral is in, Im hoping a baby clown will host to it... We will see.

BTW, I have heard moderate flow and lighting for this coral, any suggestions to do so otherwise?

Well, I got the torch corals. I got a pretty good deal too. I got 3 heads of torch coral for $20 and two clowns of $15.

Here is a side pic of the tank with the torch corals in the lower right. I made sure to move all the corals away so that they dont get stung.

I am hoping the the clowns will host to the torch coral...

The clowns seem to have adjusted well to the tank. They are swimming around like crazy and learning who not to piss off. They have yet to take interest in the torch coral. I will update this thread as time goes on.

Well the tank had a landslide and i think im gonna blame it on my engineering goby. Im not sure where he got his engineering degree from but he pretty much screwed up everything. Luckily I was staring at my tank when it happened. All the corals are fine luckily. I actually just purchased a galaxia coral as well as a beautiful base rock with gsps all over it. I will take some photos when I have the chance and post them here.

Question: What are everyones opiions on nuidibranches. I know i slaughtered that spelling. There are some really neat looking ones at the lfs and I have always fancied the bright pink and purples ones. any restrictions or precautions I need to know? Also, I found a 3.5" bristleworm in the tank last night. Im leaving him in there. Will he bother a possible new nuidibranch?

    Thanks as always.

try and find out the species of nudi first, some are toxic if they die in the tank, some are safe

Iraf is right - be careful of which ones you buy. Also, most Nudibranch eat sponge as well, don't let your LFS tell you otherwise (Unless you know for sure of which species, and their diet - some eat algae). My LFS just got some regal goddess nudibranch which ate a variety of blue sponge -beautiful, but their life cycle was only 6 months so I passed on them.

Well, I havent been online for a while. Computer was shot for a long time....
Since the last post, I have added a pink colt coral, more xenia frags, more gsps, and two more torch corals. Coralline growth is great. A sponge has decided to appear in the middle of a giant gsp rock i have, and my new cleaner shrimp hasnt cleaned one fish yet haha. I bought a McCosker wrasse and he is by far, the best fish i have ever owned. He is very docile, swims everywhere and loves darting through rock. He is very ellegant.

    I will post pics soon.

    Best,
    Yuri
