i kept a green dot for 3yrs in a 10gal! i found that to keep them healthy i feed them live tigger pods and a mixed blend of other copapods [live]. it took a year till he would eat enough frozen food to stay fat! nice tank gl

Im going to be making my own rock structure from agr. rock and stuff. I know it takes a while to cure, but this is going to be a long term project....

More to come after I add some cup coral and get my new 10 gal nano going. The 10 gal nano will be all white sand, rock, and primarily for some experimentation on fragging. I havent made up my mind yet, but I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a tricked out 10 gallon nano. Something different that someone may have been thinking about trying maybe??? Im all open ears.

    So here is the question:

I have a spare space for my 10 gal. I have the money and knowledge to do either a nano planted tank, or an even smaller nano reef compared to my 20 gal reef. I am not afraid of getting into co2 injectors etc, nor am i too concerned with a reef of that size...

What is everyones vote? Reef or planted tank?

Well, I gave in a bought a coral that Ive been watching. Its a Blue Sea Fan (Acalycigorgia sp.) Coral. It roughlt 6 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Its still not opened up yet. Ill post a bunch of pics once it does though.

I have it at low-medium flow, high light, and away from any type sand debit that may get on its polyps. Aside from target feeding, anything else I should know about these. I know I have to keep the calcium and magnesium up as well.
