I had a 10 gallon reef tank up and running for the 3 or so years, and after I did a 25% water change on it I crashed the system... The livestock was what I salvaged from the 10. My LFS is holding onto what is left alive until I get the new 29 up and running.

It's cool if it was confusing... I was hoping to use the 10 as a quarantine tank, but that didn't end up happening.

I think one of the biggest problems that no one talks about is starting your tank up with 3 fish... I mean after the nitrate cycle. I hated buying fish that I didn't want only to maybe return them later.

There must be a better way lol

PS thank you for the compliment... scaping was never my strong suit. I usually make a formation I hate only to cover it in corals.

Nice scape. You make it look big for a 29. Those are a cool size.

Thank you !! I feel so honored. ;D
If you are going to copy my plans just make sure to make your stand nicer. It was my first DIY from scratch stand and I could have made it better if I had more time.

I have always been partial to tomato/ cinnamon clowns in smaller tanks (smaller because I can't have tangs.) I would like 2 full grown tomato's, a goby, and maybe one more small fish.

Ok it has been almost 2 weeks and my skimmer is still priming itself for use...

I am still waiting to see evidence of a cycle having my Nitrates at 0 (or really really close to it.) and my ammonia levels at 0
