It's a 37 Gallon Eclipse system. Running the hood filter,a 65 watt power compact 50/50 daylight and actinic lighting, a Seio 800 gph powerhead.
I have about around 50 pounds of live rock and 30 pounds of live sand.

    Livestocks:
    1 Coral Beauty Angel
    1 Percula Clown
    1 Damsel
    Couple of snails
1 mushroom (don't know the name)
    2 feather dusters

I'm trying to get some corals and add them. If you can help, leave a tip below!

    Thanks,
    Danny ;D

I bought this tank from a friend. This tank has been running for a good 2 years... So, I'm guessing its cycled. He just removed the corals that he initially had. As far as water parameters, 0 ppm ammonia, 1.024-1.025 specific gravity,

There's lots of websites on the web that list out some beginner corals. Soft corals are best. Here's a good link:

    http://http://www.vividaquariums.com/10Browse.asp?Category=Coral+And+Invertebrates%3A+Beginners+Choice

Also, this is from one of my previous threads about good starter corals:

    Hi Kc

GSP - green star polyps -
    Zoanthids
    palys
    yellow polyps
    Mushroom colonies
    anthelia
    clove polyps
    soft leather corals
    toadstool corals

any one of those is what I would get as a starter corals

    Steve

I don't know about price, because I haven't really gotten into corals yet.

    K+ all good starter corals.

IMO a cabbage leather is the best starter coral for anyone. Mine has thrived for years and doesn't seem to take over or spread. It just gets bigger and adds to it's shape.

Be cautious where you put soft corals though. They can all take over relatively fast and can make it hard to get into stony corals later if that's your goal.

As far as price, a small frag plug of any soft coral should be around $5-$10. Keep in mind the bigger the coral is when you purchase it the more it will cost.

    welcome to 3 reef PoisonXvenom

to the list of corals above, I can also add

Ricordia and Yuma, shroom species which have some really nice colour varieties and can be puchased as single specimens
Kenya trees are another easy coral to start with than can give you a forrest in a short period of time
Nepthea tree coral is another relatively easy and undemanding coral that thrives under moderate light and moderate flow

but you need to be aware that coral beauties and other dwarf angels can develop coral pecking habits, and softies such as leathers and Zoanthids have been on the menu as far as 2 I have had previously where concerned
