Hi everyone, its me if anyone remembers me! So last week I decided to change everything, from water to sand. After 1/2 a week of letting the sand settle, spend the remainder of the week brushing off sand from the rocks, glass, etc, my tank is looking normal. I was surprised I had no brown algae growth, and I noticed yesterday, green algae is growing on one of my rocks. way cool. tested my tank for a week straight, everything stayed in range, except for Ph, which has now been in range for 4 days. Since I changed my tank, everything is going great. Only lost some of my livestock throughought the change, but that is my fault (didnt think it would take this long!). I still have my immobile crab, and he molted. My damsel lived thru it all also. Lost my polyups and 2 turbos and my scooter (which is depressing cuz I loved that fish. I am destined to keep one alive no matter how hard I try!) Anyways, bought some mushrooms last night, and a zoo was spawning on the same rock, so got 2 for the price of one. they actually open up and keep their color, not like the ones I had before it. way cool. Well just wanted to share my stress and fun! thanks for all the help from those who helped!

Very nice. Reefing is all about the small victories and going slow. But once the tank is established there is actually very little maintance and it is amazing how quick things grow.
