Well not really. I'm not sure. I put it in a good spot (for me) and it pulls all the way into the hole and out the back  Ha ha so now its on the other side of the rock. It really isn't that big during the day time hours for my tank. Seems to come out more at night. Anyway in this pic you can see the guy in the reflection since he refuses to face forward like a good little BTA should :p

It's going to move around until it finds a spot that it's happy with. As long as it's still open and inflated, I wouldn't worry about it.

he looks a little pale...my green BTA had a nice dark green/brownish colour to him never that translucent whiteish green...if it has expelled any of it zooanthalgae (sp), it will certainly run from the lights...did you acclimate him to your lights or plop him in? and what kind of lighting did he come from and is he in now?

and certainly during his settling in phase you need to make sure your power heads are covered...anemone soup is not pleasant to try and clean up...once settled they dont often move...but if they get shaded by coral of either light or flow they will do one of two things, kill the coral or move around potentially killing lots of coral..

My 92G has been up for about 6 months but it was all moved from my 72 that was 3 years old. There wasn't even a mini cycle. I just moved it all one day and added water a bit for 4 days so it was like a water change. I think he was under MH at the store but not sure what power. I put him under my 160w maxspect LED at night and the lights phase in slowly in the morning plus I skipped the noon time lights that day.
He is back out front now that I switched the flow on my return to a Y ill take new pics. Thanks.

Yeah I was kinda joking about the scared of light thing. It just seems like he was avoiding it. Now its been in there a week maybe he's adjusted.

(this is with flash - my camera isn't up to taking great pics like others have)

What do I do to cover the powerheads? I just have 3 koralia's and they are not real close to him, but i know he will move. I had a condy anemone back in the 72 for about a year and he moved a bit the first few weeks until he settled in for 6 months at a time.

I'm just glad this guy is back out facing front. His foot never really moved he was just poking out the back side of the rock wall. I guess I should have went slower on introducing him to the lights.

i see that he is alittle bleached. if his tentacles are a little transluscent then he is cleached. this means that due to poor health or something at the lfs his photosynthetic algae has left. it doesnt look major and he isnt doomed just make sure all specs are spot on and keep it all healthy. also did he have any light acclimation?

Yeah I think he might have been a little bleached at the store. I didn't do a slow enough acclimmation maybe. He seems ok though aside from bleaching.
Should I try target feeding him? I think he is becoming ok with the light.
    also specs look good with
    Ammo - 0
    Nitrite - 0
    Nitrate - .25
    Dkh - 7
    Ph - 8.3
    Cal - 475
