    I just brought home a new bubble tip nem yesterday. From the minute I put him in (he was already attached to live rock) he started moving. He moved (of course) all the way to the back of the tank and now I can only see him when shinning a bright flashlight between the two rocks. He looks fine and has not lost any color, just shrunk up and hid....he moved really far too in 24 hours. Why would he be doing this? My lights are no brighter then what was at the LFS....thanks for your tips and suggestions. Is there anything I can do to make him move out? SHould I reposition a powerhead to blow in the crack? Thanks!

    My nem played that game for about a week when I got it. I had to keep getting it out of the rocks until it finally decided to stay put.

    How did you get him out of there? I tried to move him at the LFS when vying him and it would not come off of the rock. I was afraid I was going to damage it's foot. That is why it came home on live rock. Would the powerhead trick do it?

    i had this same problem, he went to the backside of one of my Tonga pieces then decided to anchor on into it, so i just grabbed the whole piece and flipped it over.. the back side of the rock looks alittle ugly but its better than having no Anemone for people to see.

    I must of got lucky with mine. I broke a small piece of rock into three put him on top of the three in front of the tank. And it got in front and anchored in between the crevice..;

    Just in case you havent....please make sure you have netting over your powerheads...Two days after getting ours, he was moving around like crazy....then dissappeared to reappear in shreds in front of my eyes getting splattered through my tank!

    let the nem be imo
    he will go wherever he wants anyways so if you try getting him out it may just damage the foot. messing with it will just stress it out even more.
    He will come out eventrually, hes just getting used to the tank.

    I have the same problem too, so I guess I'll wait a couple of weeks and hopefully it will come out.
