So many of you knew that I was getting out of the hobby... Weeeelllll.... Its harder to leave than I suspected... :)

    Enter in my new build.

First, I got a nuvo 38 from 6lilfishes on here at a pretty good deal... Thanks Scott! I started it off as a temp tank until I got my old one out the way. Here is the build of it...

Innovative Marine 38 Nuvo with Stand
Maxspect razor 16k 120w led light
    aqua gadget mid size skimmer
    Innovative marine reactor running phosban
Apex neptune full with wxm module.
    Gaming adapter for the apex
Wireless 720p camera so I can view from the web
In basket filter compartment and fuge
in basket underwater light for cheato
    Vortec MP10 esw
    Heater and fan for temp
dosing pumps for alk and calc

Here is how it looks so far...

Next we decided to redo the floors since we had the "great flood of 2013)... Controller left my ato on and decided to make my office a pond.. :(

Here's the aftermath of removing everything from the room...

Here's a nice shopping trip to lowes...

Here's after my knees and back are completely shot!

And finally the room as it stands.

Notice on the right side of the pic?.... Well it's the next project (non reef related). 36" x 18" x 36". Wife will make it a paludarium with orchids, moss, ferns, and a turtle.. (maybe a few small freshwater fish.

Then the question comes in.... What oh what will I do for frags... :)

Answer is pretty easy... I acquired this one...
Innovative marine nuvo 24... I will be doing the in tank basket and refuge. Also, Maxspect razor, mp10, controlling from my apex, skimmer reactors and all. I'll have this one as an sps only tank... Barebottom with just a frag rack... :)

And waiting on a stand... I ordered this one...

I think the biggest headache was the maintinance on the 220g. The water changes were kicking my butt. The wife couldn't do a huge water change when I was out on travels and things started to get outta control. Now, I'm looking at a 2.5g water change weekly in both tanks. Much much easier to manage! :)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It's all very nice. Myself I could not get any work done with so many intriguing tanks within reach. Smaller is more manageable and seems like a good move if your a busy person. Wireless camera, oh my. The Nuvos look like great little tanks, love the choice of the black substrate, create a lot of contrast.
