looks nice man, always been a fan of the minimalist scapes. although i do also love the look of sand. do you plan on it being a high flow sps tank? then no sand makes sense haha.

Yep, it will be high flow SPS. If the two MP40s don't do the trick ill up the flow. As for sand, I may yet add it, but the tank is deep and the stand is tall, so there's a lot to be said for not needing to get to the bottom of the tank too often.

I got it from a company called Aqua-tecture. It's an artificial base rock substitute. I expect it will be a pain to get fully encrusted, but once it's there, the shape is too cool to pass up.

    It actually encrusts very fast!
I have a bonsai piece that took less then a month to get at least 40% coverage.

They have some very cool rocks and since they will adventually encrust it would be a nice addition.
Can any of their rock be added and do you need to do anything special to it before adding it to the tank?
    Thank you.

...this thing needs way more LR IMO. Looks "un-ocean" like

But LOVE the idea, and you did an excellent job with all the equipment you have for this tank !!! Money is just paper after all ;)
