What YT said...less talk, more pics ;)

I've had the joy of working in the same building (a state aquarium) as a large tank of cuttles. They only really responded to the blue aquarium uniform, so I got a special greeting every time I walked by the tank :D

I will post pics tonight I promise (If my computer works!)
I got home last night and took a bunch...tried to upload them and my computer crashed!

Oh...they are all eating! I got a little screen cup to catch baby brine. I got that full, put the babies in there and they ate away. It takes a very long time to do...but if they survive it is well worth it

How do you separate baby brine from adults? Do you just fresh hatch and use them before they become adults at all?

here are some new pics. They are either 6 or 7 days old (depending on when they exactly hatched)

they are all eating fairly well about 2x a day, plus they have a bunch of pods and other little things to eat. They still have their egg sacs and they will still eat those.

They have definately gotten bigger this week, however they are still small. I think they look like fat ticks right now, until they open up their tentacles, and then they are so cool

They are flashing their colors. It is so awesme to watch. They turn white to blend into the netting...then you see the brown start from their tentacles and you can watch it go through their entire body (takes less then a second but you can definately see it) I have even seen them ink. They did not ink today (maybe they are getting used to me in their netting feeding them) however the last several days there is always one inking when I try to get them.

this is all of them in a dixie cup. I feed them and then to keep from getting them confused on who ate, I placed them in the cup. You can also get idea on how small they are

This is the little strainer from my brine shrimp hatchery. I fill it up with the baby brine freshly hatched and place them into the filter to allow them to eat away

I have some video of them and their tank, but I am having trouble with photobucket today so will try to post them when I can

ggggaaaaaaahhhhh I want some cuttles :D there's no way I'd be able to devote enough time to them while I'm in college though, so that's definitely out until I'm old and gray...ish. :p

    Thanks for the pics :D
