well lost a second one today! I was told that there was only a 40% survival rate at this age, but was hoping that I would be able to have 100%.
I am feeding the remaining 4 right now and they all seem fairly active.

I had a little drop in my pH the other day and had to adjust that. Not sure if that had anything to do with or not? They seem to have grown quite a bit (at least from what I can tell) They still just look like fat ticks but now you can definately see their eyes more clearly!

I have been trying to get them to eat frozen, but mysis is a too big for them. I am thinking about going to the store tomorrow and getting some frozen cyclopeeze but the LFS that I normally go too did not have it. I will probably have to go to one of the other shops (one I dont like going to at all) Right now they are picking at the mysis but eating mainly the baby brine. I just added a little artic pods and they seem to be getting full right now

Congratulations on getting the four you have this far along. What a labor of love. Pls. keep the pics coming. While I like the idea of raising some, I am not consistent enough in my maintenance to yet be successful myself and will just need to share your excitement and joy. Thanks.

    will do! Thanks.

I will try to post pics again later this week. My mom stole both of my camera's now! I am going to go down and get them again and use the better camera and see if I can get a better shot with the macro lens

well I am now over the 40% survival rate.....just lost 2 more today. I dont know what happened because they looked like they were doing well.I did place a hunk of cheato in their net and there was a bristle worm on the bottom of it (I did not see it) I dont think they were stung but......:-[

They will often start spinning around in circles before they die. Watch out for that.

thanks..will keep an eye out for that.

They were fine around 12ish and then when I went to feed the second time the two were dead and just slime.

I tested everything just to be sure....ph 8.2, kH 8 (those have been stable), and everythign else was right on.
