So I got tired of not having a frag rack and didn't feel like paying $20 plus shipping for some piece of junk, so I made my own. It's simply 1/2" PVC joined by a total of 8 elbows....it is about 6"x13" in size, and right now it's only about 4-5" below the surface of the water.

I have 2x250w MH and 2x110w VHO...so these frags are pretty close to the light...they were about 4-5" lower in the tank. I mainly made this thing to house my SPS frags until I get the rest of my rock and finish my aquascape/

Do you think they're too close to the lights?

Also, sorry about the poor pics. I'm using my phone camera which is 5MP, but it picks up the light waves being emitted...

    I don't see a problem
as long as they are still underwater if the pump goes off.

if the color starts to fade or bleach then i would move them further down. just keep an eye on them
