You can't be certain, but usually the males have pointier tips on those blue fin extensions above and below the tail. Pair them with another flame of course ::)

    Thanks to all repliees,

My Flame Angel is in my DT now, doing well.

I put him in the DT two days ago and went to work 3p-1a.
    Yesterday, I couldn't find him.
I shut down my return pump, and with a flashlight looked in my 'intank overflow', and there he was! Swimming aournd in the small space, doing well.
I tried to get him to go thru the 1 & 1/2 inch return line to my sump, I tried dumping extra water into the overflow to increase the force to get him to go into it, he just stayed near the bottom.
I had to take out the HOB overflow section, and bend a net sort of oval to reach in the overflow pipe and fish him out.

All is well now, and I put some coarse sponge in the top of the intank overflow again, to keep another fish out of the bottom.

Kinda funny, but sometime during this time, my yellow talied blue damsel also got in there, but he took the ride thru the HOB section and was swimming around in my sump.
    Rescued him also.

At least it turned out OK. Bet that had you worried for a bit. Fish do crazy things sometimes.

I was worried. It was nice to rescue them both though without any real harm to either.

It seems my 125reef doesn't get boring anyways.
