Have you seen the Red Saddled? I have the 3 listed above and this one. The red saddled wins all awards.

Yes, they both take mysis and marine cuisine from SF bay foods with gusto! I even got them to eat some pellets, though they obviously don't prefer this yet.... I work from home and already feed 2-3 times a day, so it's not a problem! ;D

I had a pair that loved flake food which made them especially easy to care for. That's not to say that they didn't prefer the oyster eggs/cycopeeze/etc. that we fed the corals though :D

that's great! My powder blue tang absolutely LOVES new life spectrum pellets... I found this out through a happy accident... his voracious eating seems to illicit a feeding response from the other fish, so they all eat pellets somewhat... This doesn't stop me from feeding frozen foods, but I'm slowly trying to get them to take slightly more pellets than frozen...

As far as feeding corals, the SPS get the benefit of all the poop from the fish and uneaten food that enters the water column... following the examples of Eric Borneman's feeding practices from the following article:

Reef Food by Eric Borneman - Reefkeeping.com

After reading that article a while back and using biopellets and heavy skimming for nutrient export, I began a whole new method of caring for my reef... ;D
