Do you think I can put this in my sand bed on a standard 55gal with 4x54w t5's?? I saw some threads on here saying the actually do fine in low light. Also how to you keep them in place if you put them on the sand???

    Should be here today.

I agree with dingo all the way, our LFS, has kept a frogspawn since I started this hobby back in may. They have it in a low flow, and ok lighting... T5 I think. It also is in their sand bed about 18 inches I would say from the light.

Should be fine. I started mine under PCs. It does better under 6 T5s though.

And PC stands for power compact.

i keep my frogspawn in my 55 under T5's on the sandbed completely in shade.

It hates light. Seems odd to me. Won't open in light but opens huge in the shade...

Been there for several months now and it's doing the best I've seen...

my point is be willing to experiment in positioning.

well you can glue it to a small piece of rock like any other frag or if the skeleton is long enough you can probably just place it right in the sand and let it branch up from there
