I also have 2 x150 mh. i have the same crazy shimmer on my celing... i like it though looks really cool.

The problem i got is a lot of light shining into the room from the front, i tried puting something on the back wall but , no good

So what i'm doing now is, i'm gonna hang a piece of mdf cut to the shape of the arch, that i can easily remove and install, maybe cut out a couple of square holes and add some cooling fans.

I have had to move the lights even higher up off the water, my fish and corals were showing noticeable stress, they are now 10" above, but the plank does get a lot warmer now, any ides as to what i could do as in heat proof paint or cover it with something else.

The shelf had to be added to compensate for the further spaced wires compare to my t5's that just hooked onto the Brackets.
Damn the halides weight twice the weight of the t5's 43kg

Probably a good thing moving the light up. Do you have to worry about the plank? Anyway, fans should help. Where are you putting the holes for them?
