My new Hawaiian Flame wrasse pair!

Today my mated pair of Hawaiian flame wrasses arrived. They are beautiful! I haven't got a picture of the female yet, but she is pretty tiny, about 1.5 inches and is hot pink!!!

The male is a BIG boy. He is very handsome.

My red velvet wrasse, Rex, is having quite a fit over them. If he doesn't calm down by tomorrow I'll have to move some rocks around. I hope he can get ahold of himself.

The first picture is when I just added them, so the male is a bit bleached. Please ignore the dirty glass, it's on my list of things to do!

They came from Triton's Garden and the whole experience was wonderful. Jack was extremely helpful and the fish arrived healthy and packaged very well.

P.S. They ate a bunch earlier this afternoon!!

Haha I have. And it's funny because I couldn't stand wrasses when I first started!! now I have three. lol

 

Thanks! She is really pretty. I had to turn the lights off (Rex!!!), and they will stay off for the rest of the night, so I'll try to get a picture tomorrow.
