There is a controller but it's supposed to be used with the new controllable powerheads. Not the regular models. Can you use them? I suppose you can but you run the risk of ruining your pumps.

Same as with wavemakers. These can't be used on them without ruining your new pump.

There was talk when these first came out that they can be controlled reliably with the rio seio controller since it never really cuts power to the pump. However I have no idea how true this is and again, I'm afraid trying it would put unnecessary risk onto your pumps.

The new controller is big steam along with the new pumps to go with them.

I think the new pumps operate off of 12V DC and the controller converts the 120V to the 12 v and its a power modulator that soft starts the pumps and then power's up to increase the pumps speed .

Hey JP....long time no see. I hope all is going well.

BTW....you can't use the old models with the controller unless you know how to wire things. The plugs look more like computer plugs than electricity plugs.

Thanks, been working lots. Just got done with a 108 hour shift as a matter of fact. Nice to be able to relax a little bit finally.

Good thing they did that with those plugs then. Keeps people from messing up their pumps. I can't count how many people cried to me that they wanted their money back because they ruined their pumps on their own.
