Hey, 400 on a 35? Man, you beat me with 415 on a 46. All I have to say is watch the heat. You will need A LOT of fans if you enclose that puppy. Otherwise, I think you'll have an SPS dram house. 8)

If something goes wrong, its going to go wrong quick. Thats a heck of a lot of heat in a very small space. a 400w MH will produce 32K Lumens at 30"s deep. If you're not running a chiller, you are going to have serious issues with the sand heating up and fans won't help that. When you heat up rocks/sand, they retain their heat for a long time.

Im glad you got what you wanted, Im worried about you making soup, lol.

My 75g evaporates 10g a week, and I dont run MHs. So I can imagine the evaporation you will have, especially if its enclosed. Your tank will not survive it for long Im afraid to say bro.

Thats 10g a week ona 75g, not a 35g, that would be more like 20g a week in a 35g. A 75g has a lot more surface area to work with then a 35g, plus I run an open top tank, which doesn't help for evaporation, but it helps with heat and light intensity.

I have 130Watts of PC on my 20 and i get about 5 gals of evap a week. I hope you have AC in that room cause it will over heat. If you really want to try it i would raise the lights a little bit more and add a bunch of fans... But like mentioned before you are probably looking at very expensive soup in the near future ;)
