Well after setting up my original tank over a year ago then losing my job, then deciding to downgrade my tank,I finally got a light for it.Its an Odysea 36" 4 bulb with moonlights.I know some of you will say I should have got something better but Im thrilled with it compared to having a N.O. light for sooooo long. And It was only 85 dollars.Sorry no pics, maybe later

Welcome back brett. Been awhile. Congrats on the new fixture. What size tank did you end up with?

they are OK fixtures. i have the 48" on my 55, and my friend has the one you have. when you take the bulbs out for whatever reason do it gingerly. the wires that connect to the pins where the bulbs plug into pull out causing the bulb to not light. this has happened to my fixture and my friends. they work just fine, just cheaply made. IMO they are very worth the little they cost compared to the hundreds of dollars others cost.they are suppose to have built in cooling fans and are advertised as such, however my friends does not have them. i do. go figure......

Nothing wrong with that light, I have one on my 75 and one on my frag tank. Have been using them for 3 years.

I feel that if you spice them up a bit with new bulbs at least... and maybe a new ballast they are decent.

They are totally worth it for the price to gut them out and redo the bulbs and ballast. you still even save money over other fixtures after the upgrades! (as many people have brought up on here) I ran that brand fixture with better bulbs and better ballasts on my dad's 55 and it worked well.
