So let it begin.....hahaha ( I really need the extra work!)

So, Nuhtty gives me this 10 gallon tank complete with starboard bottom. I use it as a QT for my Tank for 6 weeks (no products used, just isolation). I am done that now. Fish is well (had ich)

Ok, OK, ...so I figure, I will look around for a used light....GOT ONE from antoher friend - Powerquad 20" with legs.....96 watts! YAY! But wait! She also has a 10 inch CPR aquafuge that I buy (cause I wanna go mud, no skimmer). It runs the entire back of the tank! HAHAHA!!!! PLUS moonlights!

Well, that did not take long! So, I set everything up, (no water yet) I have to brace up the shelf it will be sitting on.

So, comments? before I start loading it up?

Planning on zoas and rics.....anyone wanna donate a polyp or two? Altho I have no water yet!

Do you think there would be any restrictions on what I could keep, lightwise? After all, it is 9.6 watts per gallon!!!!

Mud only? Very bold Birdlady. Good luck!

If you ever happen to be in the Kansas City area, I'll be glad to donate some zoas!

Yeah, well, we shall see how it goes! I added mud to and existing fuge in my 58 gallon, and I have noticed improvements. Clearer water, corals are more "perky" ;D

Sounds very cool! I like experiments.

Cool BL. Let us know how it goes. I would say you should be able to keep almost anything but certain clams. Anyone else?

If you are ever in the Moses Lake area let me know I have some stuff that would be cool in a nano. I have this tiny 4 head branching caulastria coral that is real cool. Its dark green like forest green with light teal mouths.
Why not try to find one of those off the wall nudibranches with the crazy bright colors....as long as it is going to be a peaceful tank without starfish and the like. BTW I am willing to bet that I have the largest green brittle star than anyone on this site. Its gotten huge!

    Good luck
Im thinking about one for my office.

Most nudi's need diets that I cannot, or would not provide (eg. live corals etc) ;) altho they are most beautiful animals.

    Perhaps seahorses...???

Yeah, next time I am over 3000 miles away from home, visiting WA, I will stop by! HA! Thanks tho! ;D

It may be a few days till I fill it up, I burned myself out this weekend with spring cleaning! Yawn....!

    :)
