I could never spend that much money on a skimmer. I don't understand what makes it such a great skimmer other then the name. I would love to see some pics of it in action.

yeah you get what you pay for in skimmers, once you use one of these things you'll wonder how you ever got by on something lower end, and nothing against the mid-range skimmers I still swear by my ASM's

I'm sure you will be very happy with your BK. It's honestly like no other. People always say I'm crazy for spending the $$ I spent but they just haven't skimmed until you Bubble King Skim LOL.

+1 I really love my ASM but I also like Otty's Precsion Marine. That thing is wicked. He can feed flake and within minutes it's pulling skimmate the color of the flakes.

If I ever drop a bunch of money on one piece again it will be the skimmer.

I agree with "you get what you pay for" , but $1200.00:eek: HOLY SKIMMERS BATMAN...........Thats alot of money!
Let me say this, I've had cheap skimmers(Odyssea PS160-$60) and great skimmers(AquaC EV180-$400.) and just about everything in-between and there is a difference in materials used and craftsmanship, but to say its worth $1200? I think that they're just pricing on the name that it has become. Take watches for an ex; I've had the privilege of owning a Rolex and a Tag-Heuer and both are swiss made, great materials used, great craftsmanship, attention to detail..........etc....etc. The Tag is valued at $2000. and the Rolex is valued at $6000-$7000. But yet, the Tag is an awesome watch, which is a fraction of the cost of the Rolex and keeps excellent time. Why spend the extra $4k-$5k for a Rolex, when a Tag will give you the same result. Maybe am wrong, but thats the way I see it. If you can afford it, more power to ya. Enjoy your new toy. Luna

this is why I usually steer clear Bubble King thread.

Luvreef23, Enjoy your amazing Skimmer. You and I know the difference and why $1200 is a good investment into a Bubble king.

Hey if you have the money, I dont see a problem with the skimmer. Its like cars, You can get a kia or you can get a BMW. Both do the same thing, but the BMW will always outperform the kia :yaknow:.
