One of my LFS has these too and never knew if they were good or not. I never really gave it a second thought since I'm perfectly happy with my EV-180. I just need to add a JG fitting on mine. When I bought mine, they were out of stock on the ones with the JG fitting. Does anyone have one that knows what MPT size is on the JG, is it 1/8"?
Oh, my LFS has the BK a bit cheaper, they have good prices...

I know what u are saying Jason. Sure its alot of money but its like ibm geek said with cars. Ive owned a kia...garbage but it got the job done. (with alot of problems and rigging along the way). Door seals leaking, rear door hinge busting, blah blah blah. I have a jeep, get the job done better than the kia but with less frustration, plus has more power. Than I have had a vw gti, lots of power with no problems....was a joy to drive. I didnt even have to need to go anywhere. Id drive it just to drive. Skimmer is the same to me, I have a euro-reef which i would compare to the jeep and i have had a cpr bak pak-defintinely the kia and now i have my bubble king which i would compare to the gti and beyond. When u take into account the cost of your livestock and how healthy u want things (heathier the prettier, more vibrant colors, better growth, etc. who wouldnt wanna strive for that? Isnt that the whole reason anyone gets into the hobby? That was my reasoning anyway. If i had to compare skimmers (cess pool eliminators) to life support systems at a hospital id want my family member on a bubble king life support system even if the doctor told me it was more cause of its name brand. More power to a company that can charge a little more for their name brand, they sure didnt get that way from selling a product that sucks.

Thread title is named Rolls Royce skimmer for a reason :)

I think that you misunderstood my post. Im not knocking you down for buying a BK, I just cant see myself spending that kind of money on one piece of equipment. Just like in life, some can and some cant. You can, god bless you my son....lol Thats why I ended my post with.........
"Maybe am wrong, but thats the way I see it. If you can afford it, more power to ya. Enjoy your new toy. Luna"

I am curious to see how this type of skimmer works.
