    i just went to the fish store this weekend and bought these polyps.i asked the girl workin there but she didnt know(go figure).they broke up in three different parts, so i got 3 frags for the price of one.Sweet! thanks JOE

    Look like some sort of zoa or paly, they may color up as it appears that they have been in low light for a while.

    I'm sure you realize it, but you have some bad GHA, check you nitrate and phosphate levels and cut back on feedings.

    lol beat me to it...i would invest in an urchin, a sally lightfoot, and a lawnmower blenny to try and combat it too..

    plus aptasia. how big is your tank, might consider a tang also for the algea and then turn your light schedule down a bit in addition to the above suggestions.

    me too.

    Emerald crabs are much safer. Sally lightfoots get big and carnivorous. Plus they are fast as all getout.

    As far as the polyps, it is hard to say what they will turn out to be, if anything different than dull brown polyps. Good luck, you never know, they could actually end up being a nice colored zoanthid or paly.

    thanks everyone i have a lawnmower blenny(LARDO is his name) he will not touch the algea he only eats shrimp.i was going to ask what would be the best way to get rid of GHA .thank you everyone again JOE
