You'll love the Sleeper! I know mine is one of my favorite fish! Just have to watch them though because they are jumpers. I lucked out with mine, he's yet to do any carpet surfing.

So does this mean I shouldn't syphon the crap off the bottom too often? Just a regular water change?

    Pushing the boundaries eh?

Long as the tangs have at least 6, preferably 8x their body length to swim in the tank, Its a decent home for them. Assuming this tank is a 48" tank, meaning the tang can comfortably be able to live in the tank up to the range of 5-8"...(8" pushing it) Long as the tank has been established for a period of time. You keep up on the greens and occasional vitamins! (dont forget they like some meaty bits too!)!

Adding them small will help on the territorial issue and as a group of ODD numbers. Make sure there are plenty of caves and Hiding places for them to stake their territories out!

Like all tangs, all are susceptible to HLLE... (Head Lateral Line Erosion) (Coming from nutrition and stress) Vitamin C are great for this.

One thing nice is you picked out the 2nd smallest category of tangs, Zebrasoma. (Generally, besides the sailfin and desjardini safilin) But they are the hardier tangs of all 5 tangs you could have chose. (Zebrasoma - Sailfins, Ctenochaetus - Bristletooths, Acanthurus, Paracanthurus- Regal Tangs, and last but not least the grand daddy, the Naso family of tangs)

Tangs are high bioload fish, eat a lot and poop alot! Keep up on following your params. have a nice skimmer running on your tank and Do your water changes and filter media changes! and you're good to go for a while.

Ok. I just got back from the fish store and got

    Mysis shrimp
    Krill
    Plankton
    Brine Shrimp
    Clam Meat
    Seaweed or Algee
    Veggie Clip

Should i feed the fish right when they get established into the tank or wait till tomorrow? They have probably not ate anything for two days so i would think they would be hungry???? If so, what should i feed who with the food i bought????
