I would probably put some seaweed on a clip just before you put them into the tank. They may be hungry, because some places keep them in transit from where they're caught in the wild to you, without feeding them.

Follow liveaquarias Instructions. When ordering online, never acclimate other then the instructions of the sites. You dont know what chemicals they may have used or other things or how the fish was packaged.

As for the seaweed clips. Id suggest putting 2-3 in for starts with small chunks of seaweed. It gives them oppertunities to eat away from the others if theres issues.

And make sure to leave the lights off for awhile once you introduce them into the tank.

Let us know how they are doing.

I can echo the statement that you are pushing it in a tank that size. That sailfin will get to be a foot or so when grown. The purple tangs are beautiful fish, but can get mean. especially towards other zebrasoma tangs ( scopas, YT, sailfins, and purple tangs are all zebrasoma). Hopefully you don't have any problems, but if you do, get all but one out, either the scopas or purple would be better on it's own in that tank, before any fish get killed.

Just wondering with all these fish being added at once aren't you afarid you might throw off your bioload off? I am not to studied up on the subject but have heard that adding to much at once can have a bad effect on the current bioload of the system?

    Anyway PICTURES!!!

It's way too fast of a stocking, especially with fish that eat the way tangs do...

All right, they are all in and doing great!!!! Only one problem has occured is that the yellow tang (have already had him in the tank) is being tertorial. I am going to leave it a lone for a while because my LFS said too. The fish (other tangs) actually don't care about the yellow tang... they almost act like he is not even there. My Scopas tang has found his little hole that he likes and set ground. The sailfin is only like 1 inch and going great. The sailfin is actually the one fish that the yellow tang has not touched. The purple tang has not found his ground yet but still seems fine. The goby i have not even seen yet but i think it is ok. My grama is so small that he is hard to find. As i am writing this they are getting better and better. Oh yea.. the starfish has probably done the BEST of all of the things i bought! I put some algee or seaweed and the purple tang is the only one that has touched it yet. My snails have dug into the sand and i can't find them any more. Everything is doing great and getting better and better every minute!!! Please ask me more questions and i will answer them as quick as i can!!! I will update daily and maybe even hourly...... Thank you for all the NICE comments!!!!!!! And again, i will keep answering your questions!!! :)
