    I notice the CO2 tank in the back, that's for your calc reactor right?

    Ya David thats for my Calc Reactor. You can't see the actual reactor but it's behind the tank

    How big is that CO2 tank? How long does it last you?

    Sorry about the questions I'm just planning on building my own Calc Reactor and am very curious about the CO2. I don't know much about it so I must ask.

    I will admit I haven't got the unit 100% dialed in. meaning the amount of C02 (bubble count) and effuent drip rate. I'm working on that now. It's a 10# tank that should last 3-4 months maybe longer. I've set my bubble count now to 1/sec and my drip rate to 30/sec and am watching the Dkh and CA levels.

    Ya after only 13 hours. But I had to dismantle it to rework the plumbing. We will see in the morning if the riser is skummy again
