That's some good advise there. That is 100% true.

No argument with that statement! It's a lot to take in at times and granted I don't follow all advice, but since I'm a beginner I listen to everyone as I'm doing my research, that's why I'm here to learn and go with what I've learned. But I will ask tons of questions...LOL

    Thanks

Thanks Pack...I actually added in the cycle-in-a-bottle after the setup. Since they tried it on 2 of their tanks in the store they said it works. One thing I must say for these guys is they are not pushy...I've been in and out of that store for over 3 months asking questions up until they close and they've never tried to force me to buy a tank. The most I every bought was a book and a goldfish for my kids. They have a good rep, and isn't a chain store, only one store in VA. I will wait for a while before I add anything, they do preach patience as their number one advise and they are very anal about selling their fish to anyone when they know it's not the right time.

The 3 Red Cronies are doing great and granted I'm not putting in anymore fish when you say "livestock" are hermit crabs and your typical cleaners included? I don't plan on adding anymore fish for a while until I figure out what goes with what etc.

    Thanks

Pics look good- you are on your way! As one newbie to another, I "redecorated" a bunch before I added corals and such, moving the rock around until I was pleased with the layout. And not having many fish/coral makes it easier to change small things without upsetting the whole tank. Somebody on here posted some new tank pics and put fake coral in for some color until their tank was cycled- it was funny, but probably helps with the "patience" factor! Keep reading, it's a great way to form a plan (and the pictures are great!)

Hey Bears, looks like you are getting a handle on it. Suggestion? I would go for surface agitation from a small Koralia or your return although I couldn't see the return in the pics. Happy aquarium keeping to you!
