Well I have been a member on this forum for god only knows how long. And I can say that since I have been gone this place has had a major face lift. This is one of the best sites I have seen but there is a few things that I think needs to be fixed....sorry Matt

Anyway, I now have a 90 that is pretty tight but I was able to get my hands on a nice 180 drilled with Modern Series stand and canopy. I will not use the canopy because I will buy one from my LFS. I plan to use 3-250W 14K halides, two 160W VHO actinics, a 36" Ecosystems sump, two ER CS6-1 skimmers, two blueline 30HDX pumps from the sump and another on a closed loop w/seaswirl, a MRC dual chamber reactor, ARS RODI, maybe a kalk reactor and I think that is it.

Oh yeah, I will run a 1" sand bed of fine sand. I have about 150 lbs of rock and may add a few more pounds, depends on how it looks. I am going for two towers and an open clam lagoon in the center.

I decided to go with two ER skimmers because I can't fit a CS12-1 in my sump and I decided against one 6-1 & one 8-1 because I don't want the 8-1 to out compete the 6-1.

Any suggestions are always appreciated. I am including a picture of my tank as it sits now.

Welcome back MacnReef! Always good to see old friends. I didn't see a picture of your tank attached to this thread, but will look in your gallery. It sounds like a great plan and set up! ;D

Looking good. Is that an anemone in the bottom right hand corner? If so what kind?

Thanx! No, its actually a fungia or AKA plate coral. It is one of my favorite corals because of how big it gets. I have a lot of stuff in the tank that is not in the picture, tri-color acro, slimer, bluetip stag, green monti cap w/purple rim, brown cap w/purple rim and tons of other sps.

Change in plans....I am going with a MR2 from MRC instead of the twin ERs. Also, I am going to feed the MR2 with a Gen-X 55 pump and I am going to run my return lines on a W70HD and run a W30HDX on a closed loop.
