My nitrites is little high=0.5 and cloudy water .. switch off the skimmer ?

    My nitrites is little high=0.5 and cloudy water because i remove filter media .. switch off the skimmer ?

    No don't switch off your skimmer. How is your skimmer acting? Are you getting crazy foam? As for the cloudiness, could be a number of things. Need more tank info please :)

    How long has the tank been up? What size tank is setup? What are your ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, maybe calcium, alkalinity, magnesium and phosphates if your planning a reef?

    Looks like you are having a mini cycle. Nitrites can be deadly. How do the fish look?DO NOT SWITCH OFF THE SKIMMER.
