The 7th pic is some sort of brain. It is a type of lobo I'm pretty sure but haven't ever been able to get a really good ID on it. Since I lost my mimic and my powder brown (I think he was getting picked at by the big ol' crab I got out of the tank) I decided another mimic is the way to go. I love the little fish. Hopefully this one does better. I actually netted him, myself, at my buddies LFS =)

I'm glad you got another one! That coral is gorgeous! I love the coloration of it.

My wife fell in love with that coral and she doesn't get too excited too often. I'm more of an sps fella so it was all about her.

    Update on my tank:

Sorry guys, it has been a while. With my daughter's softball season in full swing, I haven't had a lot of time. But anyhoo, I have been battling bryopsis and have defeated it (I think). I used Tech-M to raise my mag up to around 1800 PPM and the bryopsis died off over the period of a couple of weeks. The bad side effect of this is that I have a lot of bleached corals now but haven't really lost anything.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Hi Daniel, nice to see you back.

I am frankly surprised the Mag caused any coral issues. Congrats on beating the Byropsis.

I was too.......It may have been the substance in the Tech-M that kills the bryopsis. I had tried to do it with the mag from BRS but that didn't work. There is something in the tech M that the bryopsis doesn't like. I have done a couple of water changes over the past few days and will get it out of there.

Yes Daniel, its been a while! Nice that you're enjoying the summer with the family tho! Glad you beat the bryopsis! I used Kent Tech as well when i had them.. Used the whole 64oz bottle in my 90. Hopefully they come back strong!

(we want some FTSs etc, don't we?)

haha....I will do an fts shortly. Stuff is still bleached so things aren't looking great. The efflo looks beautiful. As a matter of fact, most of my acros do look good. Most of the bleaching were montis (superman and pokerstar as well as all of my plating ones), zoas, bubble coral...well you get the drift. The acros looked great. Shin, did you have any bleaching with the Tech M?
