Yeah, he is absolutely amazing. He grazes constantly on the rock. If you are looking for a tang to keep the rock clean, this is your guy. he is attractive too

Do the mimics grow more slowly than others? Do they get pretty large?

It's been a while since I updated this thread. To be completely honest, this is the most excited I have ever been about a tank. The cycle was super short and easy, the diatom bloom was very intense but short and everything is just looking good. I am finding that I may have to go with a calcium reactor because I am already dosing quite a bit just to keep the alk up. (60 ML per day of Farley's DIY 2 part) I'm ok with the dosing but I think a CA reactor will probably be more cost effective and efficient, in the long run. With all of this being said, most of the SPS has been in the tank for about 2 weeks and I'm starting to see growth already. The Sunset monti was extremely brown when placed in the tank but is starting to show a hint of orange. It also has polyps in the "white" where it was fragged. Here is my current stock list:
    1. Yellow Mimic Tang
    2. Flame Hawk
    3. Blue and Yellow Damsel (He's growing on me)

    Coral:
    1. Sunset Monti
    2. Montipora Spongodes
    3. Purple Cap
    4. Orange Cap
    5. Blue rim green cap
    6. Pink BN
    7. Green BN
    8. Ricordia
    9. Hairy Mushrooms
    10. xenia
    11. Green Star Polyps

There are various snails and hermies in the tank.

    Parameters

    Alk 9 dKH
    Ca 480
    Ammonia 0
    Nitrite 0
    NO3 10

Oh you people are killing me. I'll try to get pics tomorrow. I was trying to hold off until the sunset colored up.
