It has been a while since I updated this thread and a few disheartening things have happened. The biggest issue since updating is the loss of my mimic tang. That fish was awesome and I really can't think of any reason I lost her other than she was sick to begin with. Everything else is thriving and corals are growing. Another bummer is that my return pump failed on me. (if anyone has a gen x 6000, let me know). The return pump i tossed in for the mean time was electrocuting my fish. How do I know? They all broke out with ich (possible mimic killer even though I never saw anything) and huddled in one portion of the tank. I tested voltage and sure enough, there was a little bit of current. I pulled that pump and put another one in. Other than that, all is going well. I'm going to post some pics in a bit but they aren't good. I can't get good pics for some reason under MH. .

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
You should be feeling good about the tank. The corals look great.

And now you have a Red Planet too.

Love the blue mille and the xenia type.

Tank is coming along great. Congrats.

Looks like nice growth around the edges of both caps!

Corailline, I'm feeling great about this tank. It has been a lot of fun and I have to say that this is my favorite tank ever. Purple is starting to show up EVERYWHERE and corals are really showing a lot of growth. It's a lot of fun.

I bought the milli from my buddy. It's about 5 inches tall and has about 20 "shoots" coming up from the base which is about 4 x 5 inches. It's a big piece. When he put it up for sale for 30 bucks, I almost choked. I love red planet. It's my favorite acro.

Thanks, I have 3 caps total in the tank and they are all showing a lot of growth. The red one has about a 1/2 inch rim and it has been in the tank for about a month. Same goes for the green.
