    This is my old 10 gal nano. Pics of fungia plate/disc coral growth. Grew really fast!

    Very nice. What's the time frame? Any size relation on the final image?

    Thank you. When I bought it, it was the size of a quarter. 1 1/2 years later, I'd say it was close to 7 inches across and growing.

    This is really cool. I never had really good luck with them, but I always want to try again.

    Thank you! I'd have to say, fungia corals are probably my favorite corals.

    Did you block it into that corner or did the coral just make it's way over there?
    It never ceases to amazing me when they start making little plates.

    I put it in that corner. It was glued to a plug. Mine never made baby plates. Did yours?? How do they do that?

    No never happened to me, but I have seen quite a few times. A LFS had a huge tank, in one corner he had a large metallic green one that must have had 20 small plates attached. It's not unusual for this coral to die, be devoid of tissue and then start budding little plates all over it.

    This is not my images and I think it might be Rev's owner of another site.
