    dude youre my hero, you startd with SPS, went to LPS, then added softies. I think the normal progression in the oposite order. Good looking tank!

    so it appears in your update thread that you have wood on the top of the tank. in the former shots of the 400W light setup there was no sort of canopy. what did you wind up doing up top?

    im following this still because i was curious how 1 400W light would work over a tank instead of having two seperate pendants. curious what you did over the top...

    The wood you saw is a mock up framework for a basic canopy which due to finances I have not completed yet.
    In regard to the single pendant I have ended up supplementing the right side of the tank where the RBTA settled with a 70w HID pendant I won at the local reef club meeting in Feb.
    The single pendent does ok but it does leave the lower outside corners a bit darker than I liked, those corners would do great for anything that prefers lower light levels or shadows.
