To start this bold endeavor and not post any pics to satisfy the masses is down right offensive. Further more, it will not be tolerated at this time. You give me no choice when I say that you have 72 hrs to produce said pics.

Picture police made me do it!

I was out this morning and took some pics of the strip mall where the store will be.

The bird cage (CL purchase!) is where "Rocky" our African Grey will be.
He will also go to work everyday!

The Asbestos testing,Cable TV, Phone and Internet will be done on Monday.

The store is in the first building on the right


It is between Santeramos Pizza (been there forever) and the Dentist

very nice! looks like people can get their teeth cleaned grab some lunch and pick up some new fishies all in one stop

 

oooh i like it so far! how do you plan on cycling all these tanks?

 

im guessing the grocery store will have a good shrimp sale..

 

Yup that is my preferred method ....fill them up and add frozen shrimp.

Cherokee (chocolate lab) greeted every customer and they brought him treats and toys. When she died, all the employees chipped in and bought me Tyson (the Boston Terrier in my profile). I left Snuggles at the shop too. Customers brought him dangerous crabs that they captured. Some wanted to watch my mantis kill it because they were so frustrated, others just wanted to feed Snuggles and walk away. In their mind, at least another critter got fed.

If I could offer a suggestion....do whatever you need to do to remember your customers names and their tanks. That way you can say, "You shouldn't buy this because your XYZ is gonna go after it". You have now lost yourself a sale that they wanted. That seems bad at first, but it really isn't. You have now become the LFS that, "Tells it like it is". Trust me on this....one doesn't survive in this business with a whole bunch of one-time sales. The key to profitability is have your customers come back repeatedly because they trust you.
