My veterinarian's office have that. (Peoples dog's are nervous and have accidents if you catch my drift). They like it because they don't have to worry about customers slipping in a puddle.

This product is only 1/4" thick. I think it should be fine for level

This is my biggest concern with the concrete floor (slipping)
Also the other products for concrete like stain, or epoxy coating are very susceptible to salt. I think any product I put directly on the concrete will erode.

We had linoleum square tiles. The salt would make them look filthy in just 2 weeks in spite of the fact that we mopped several times a day. We had to have a company come in on a regular basis to strip and refinish them.

Daltile Quarry Tile™ Quarry & Saltillo Tile

In regards to the flooring, have you researched quarry tile?

This product is typically used in commercial kitchens. I would go so far as to say this is the "standard" floor finish in architects when they spec products for commercial/industrial kitchens.

An epoxy type grout can be used to create a very low maintenance, extremely durable floor covering. You don't have to seal it like normal cement based grouts because its almost completely non-porous.

Also because its so commonly used, any local tile installer should be able to give you a "turn key" product with a fair market value.

Thanks for the info! I will check it out

Just made a killer deal on CL for some store fixtures/counters.
I have been working on this for a couple of weeks. They will fit perfectly in our employee area where the walls are coming down.
Picked it all up for 1K This includes all the fixtures!
Rented a Uhaul and on the way to get them!

Coming together nicely! Congrats man, and good luck. If it takes off (which I'm sure it will) maybe you should consider opening another in South Florida ;D. Also, not sure if you already mentioned it, but what's the name gonna be?

You have probably thought this through and definately have more insight into how you want to run it than I but would help with the daily maintenance logisitics to switch the bathroom with the Storage Tanks room? With that change you could move the corals tank up even with the other tanks and extend your maintenance corridor to the new tanks location.

I realize it would take away from the one tanks size but would keep you from trekking through an open public.

    Does that make sense?
