We were going to visit family in Denver first week of march...but the trip might be scrubbed. If the trip is still on, I'm definitely interested in stopping by. This is an awesome thread! We've never had an LFS build thread before :)

Looking great so far. I was looking at your layout and where is your dry goods section going to be located? Next to the Nanos?

Please have a Peacock mantis a store buddy on the checkout counter :D You'd be an ambassador for all mantis-kind in Denver. You'll get to tell people how they aren't pests, but are amazing creatures that should be welcomed if someone finds one in the tank ;)

And for the display tank, what size are you thinking of? A large cube tank would be great right there. It'd catch the eyes of shoppers outside of the store.

I guess the display tank is the least of your worries at the moment. ;)

Snuggles lived in a nano by the register. He was spoiled by customers who always wanted to feed him. We were interviewed by the St. Louis Post Dispatch and we were also Business of the Month. Even though there were fish galore, and a large shark tank, the picture used both times was of Snuggles.

Next to the nano's and behind the counter and some on A frame racks

I will have whatever display I can land a good deal on. If I cant find a deal I will have to buy new.
I have tons of frequent flyer miles so I look at C/L daily and try to find something within 2k miles. I can fly out and drive a rental back, this would be worth it for a big enough tank with lights and all.
    So I have no Idea
But we will have 10 or so Nano's set up

    I mantis would be cool!:)

No we sign the lease tomorrow and get the keys then. I have all the fixtures I bought yesterday in a uhaul truck. We will unload them tomorrow night. We will not be able to start construction until the USDA gets us certified. That is suppose to only take 10 days. It also says in there guidelines not to start any construction until they approve it. We have been in contact with them and don't see any problems. We just have to give it its due process.:)
