    Agreed Vinny,

My Chinese Tao Tronic 120W's are doing great, about 2 months or so.

Not one complaint yet. And for this price, it would be easy to complain.

    Like what?

It has 3 cooling fans that blow down into the unit, and the exhaust exits thru slots in the front and back.

I haven't taken it apart, but like todd said there are 3 fans that draw air in from the top and out the sides and front (or back depending on what you are calling what).

Mine run cool, the exhaust isn't hot, the enclosures are sitting on my tank lid and they are in a 3-side enclosed hood.

No heat sinks, but the fans do a stand up job at keeping everything cool...and if it lasts 2yrs...i consider that a Win for $150 shipped..lol Esp for the growth i'm getting off of my middle island from it...in 2yrs it will more than pay for itself in frags.

I was just asking. If you are happy with the fixture that's all that matter. You made your point.

    Got them! Next question....

I have read alot about acclimation when switching to these lights and the timing. I got that I should hanging this 10" above the tank but what about the acclimation schedule and then once the tank is acclimated what should I have the timers set for.

This is what I have: 45g cube with a 3" sand bed

    Lrg Zoanthid and multiple frags
    Large star polyps
    ricondea
    mushrooms
    kenya tree
    flower pot
    sea whips
    4 anemone's
clowns, scopas tang, fire fish, coral banded shimp, sexy shimp, peppermint shrimp, scallop, clam

I plan to add more coral!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would think so, I'm using two on my 125. It's 72 in long.

If your tank is much longer, than 3 should work.
