Took a break from building and picked up some nice frags today. Most of the pics are the mother colonies.

Well as little change in plans with the canopy. Turns out that if I hinge it is won't be able to open it as I won't have clearence to the ceiling. So I need to either make the front panel removable to change lights or remove the panel and put doors in the front. I had already planned doors on the sides. But guess I need to scrap that.

Either that or redo it not as tall.

At least I caught it now.

Well you just convinced me to ask my husband for a 75 gallon I've been eye balling for Christmas! I've been wanting to set up a tank strictly for Acropora and you pics just pushed me over the edge! Should be interesting, I've never had Acropora at all. Your pics are gorgeous!!!!

I think I figured out a solution. I was either laying In bed at 3am thinking about it or other came to me in a dream! Ha ha.

Being it is so solid and we'll built and I am going to be running a 60" T5 accessibility is critical.

I am going to make the front panel that would normally flip up, actually latch on now. This way when I need to clean or change bulbs I can just flip the clasps open and then remove the entire front panel. I will still have side doors for feeding and I will get to keep what I have already built!
