My piece of the Reef - the new build continues!

Got the fish!! Lights are out, they are in the grow out tank until the upgrade. They are BEAUTIFUL!

 

Well got some good news! A very good friend of mine wants to get into the hobby. And guess what! He wants my 100!!! This is going to help out tremendously on the upgrade. Still probably looking at March - Spring for the swap, but that is okay. Gives me a chance to really do it right.

I will get some Pics of the Bellus this am. They are really nice. Cant wait for the lights to come on!!

Amazing color and growth. Me and the wife were talking about going led, radions specifically. The heat, the cost and running a chiller is getting old. Plus now that radium stopped making DE bulbs it really frustrates me. You have a hell of a reef tank bud.

 

Thanks DSC, I must admit I had okay growth under just the leds. But when I went led and T5 combo is when I really started to see good growth.

I will be always doing a combo now. On all 3 tanks.

When I swap out the 30 for the 60 I plan the same diy rack that I did for the grow out tank.
