Note to self..... when using a wood such as oak, and you have a 1 x 6 x 10 leaning against the house. Best to not pull on the electric cord that somehow was behind it causing it to fall..... 1 x 6 x 10 when it comes down and hits you in the head and nose, # 1 does not feel good, #2 will tend to require an ER visit and stitches.

    Game delay today..... Whoops.

I bet, that's a serious piece of wood. It's funny that we get battle scars from our reef tanks, lol. Dangerous hobby...

Yeah you can say that again, I just want to get this thing finished . I keep thinking I'm so close but there's still so much more to do I was messing around with the dentil trim a little bit today, it's going to look awesome.

Overall good experience. Little concerned on the chalice right now - lost some tissue on one side. hoping it does not keep receding.

I'm curious about the alkalinity they keep there tanks at. In my experience any receding on a chalice was alk related. I've had some literally look dead then came back even better.

Well looks like it will be okay it has settled in. The little tissue loss I had did not continue. Hopefully no issues.

Sounds like they'll recover well. I've had chalice literally take months to acclimate to my water chemistry. Even the true undata I have, for well over a month it looked dead and now it's beautiful. Lol
