    Looks good. I hope you're putting a center brace on the front side too. Or did you just leave that out of the pictures by mistake?

    Gonna go with no center brace on the front, ala Reefsparky's stand. Instead of the 2x4, use two 1x's sistered together to cross the span. I'd love to have one big opening on the front...

    Just design sump cabinet tall enough to deal with any skimmer you are getting...(enough room for easy disassembling, cleaning and reassembling...)

    Hood weight

    Here's a question...how much heavy a hood can a 90g support?

    I used a 2x6 for my top frame on the 135g stand so I wouldnt need a center support. On a 90g, 2x4 top frame is all you need, supported by 2x4 legs inbetween the the top and bottom frames with the screw strips holding it all together. I did however put in a 2x4 in the front so I would have something to mount the doors too (4 16"x32" doors on the front) and one in the back to mount the plywood to so it wouldnt bow.
