    hello all,
I am getting real close to my goal of finishing my new set-up( if anyone is ever finished).
It all began about six years ago i started a small reef tank(60 gal). It had a few mushrooms some zoa's and a Kenya tree, also have a tomato clown, and a couple of damsels( i have had all my fish from the very beginning six years ago) i used them to break the new tank in. In this 60 gal I could never keep corals alive other than the ones you cant even shoot to kill. I always had good stable water conditions.

I made the decision to step up the size of my tank to 135 gal.i wanted to do it right from the start. I bought the tank, stand, hood on craigslist for a meer three hundred bucks! Then i purchased the sump which is 30 gal 3 chamber, one is the duel overflow and skimmer 2nd is the fuge ( i have 4 inch pacific sandbed with the cheato and 5 mangroves. How long does it take to really get a fuge going to where it benificial to the tank? The fuge is lite by a 26 watt CFB. Im lighting the tank with 2 250w metal's and 260w t5's with the moonlights.i ran my old canister filter and biowheel from my smaller tank for the first two weeks of setup. My tank seems to be doing really well right now with everything where it need to be as far as the water goes. I was also wondering if there was anything eles i should add to my fuge to get the most out of it.I want to do the best i can cause killing live animals makes me feel really bad and im on a budget( theres nothing cheap when it comes to reef tanks ive noticed :) My kids just love helping me and we all are learning so much as we move forward with this awesome hobby. If anyone has any lil pointers to add for me that would be great!! Thanks for all your help so far I love 3reef its very active!!!
