that was the easy part.. I told her the 72 was getting too crowded and I would need to sell alot of coral or get rid of it.. she agreed to upgrade lol:eek:

thanks! the goal was to move EVERYYTHING from the 72 since I had grown just about everything from a frag. that way I wasnt starting a big 6' tank with tiny frags

Wow, that stand/canopy combo is incredible! Are you a woodworker by trade??

And that doesn't even touch on the inside of the tank, which is in the same area between "flippin sweet" and "amazing" as the woodwork!

    thanks everyone!

blackraven, I am not a woodworker or anything related lol. This is actually the first thing I have "built"
I built the stand frame and canopy frame myself and kiltz'ed it and my friend helped skinning and trimming since he has better tools like nail guns, table saw, and better measuring skills.
We didnt have the tools or skills for the doors so thats the only thing that wasnt done by us. I had a "vision" of what I wanted, so we went with that and just kinda winged it. The canopy took a while for me to figure out how I wanted it... I knew i didnt want doors on the front but I needed access to everything in there without having to remove the canopy since its a pain. but once I got an idea, i just built it! after everything was said and built, I stained everything myself! its not perfect, but i am pretty proud of it.
trust me, if I can do it, anyone can :)

    Amazing, Mario.

Really cool seeing you upgrade from the 29 up to the 72 THEN up to the 180(my dream tank). You did some great work. That stand and canopy came out beautiful. K+ to you my friend.

    What's next...a 300? lol j/k
