    Size of build

My tank is going to be a 54 gal corner reef ready. I am going to attempt to build my own stand in the coming weeks. One thing that is cool about my timing of this is my wife just got her new camera, Cannon T1i, I hope she will let me use it.

    Getting the goods today.

2 years ago I never thought I would be as excited about seeing the UPS man as I am today. I will to take some pictures of my loot. It is also good to know that there are other western NY's that try to brightin there by with a slice of the reef. Any good LFS in ROC -BUF?

Rochester has a couple of really nice ones - I patronize both:

The Reef Shoppe (Ridge Road in Irondequoit)
Caribbean Forest (near intersection of Culver and Norton)

I believe there are a couple of nice places in the Buffalo Area but I have not been to them.

You should have some luck at either of these places. If you need a part or hard good item - Caribbean Forest has a very extensive inventory of parts and pieces and all those little (& not so little) items that you need to keep the reef running.

Both places have savvy staff as well. I would encourage you to shop at either place instead of the chain retailers. It will be well worth your time and money spent.

    :)

cooly. corner builds look so nice. welcome and cant wait to see your progress. i cant believe how much pre-research you did on reef keeping b4 getting into it. sure beats my "buy a tank and some stuff and grab a "for dummies" book and learn on the fly approach". it pains me to think about the way i started this hobby. but you are way ahead of the curve with all the info you have gathered b4 starting.
