My reef collapsed...

    I made a PVC frame and drilled all the rocks and then secured them to the frame with zip ties. I can shake my rocks without ever having to worry about them falling. My rocks are also are sitting on top of eggcrate the lifted an inch off the bottom with PVC so my goby can only really go down a couple of inches in my DSB.

    I'm so glad that your tank isn't broken--I never thought about the bottom either!

    I have a solid top to the cabinet- I actually (talk about obsessive!) got up a couple of times last night to check- no leaks. Actually, everybody looks pretty good- coral wise also. I think I will go with the base rock on the bottom idea, and then restack with epoxy. Maybe do it in 2 stages, one side then the other, to minimize the trauma to the residents. My skimmer sure is working overtime though!
